Osage Orange

Put water and osage sawdust in the pot. Bring to boil and hold for 15 minutes. Strain the liquid. Save the liquid and save the sawdust. Put the sawdust in new water and repeat. I did it 4 or 5 times, always adding the new dye liquid to the old one.

Add the fabric to the dye bath. Bring to boil. Hold under the boiling point for an hours. Rinse.

After drying, samples of cotton, silk and wool. The upper piece of cotton was modified with an iron bath after dying.
