Silently approaching, she catches a glimpse of their glass house in the woods. He is standing at the door ready to welcome her home.

She asks if he will ever know the immensity of her dreams. He wakes her up. No, he will not. She does not like to wake up. Now the monsters arrive...

As we move through the series by Hellen Colman and read her poem which accompanies the series, we are summoned to the poetic metaphor found in our own dreams.  She seeks the peace of the dream but seems to be awakened by the monster that whisks her away so easily upon the first light of day.  It took Hellen seven pictures to take us from a sweet and pure state to one of the sheer terror of being kidnapped by the dashed hopes of real life.  Her monsters come and go quickly as she disappears upon the table.
