Zunaid Ahmed
After completing coursework at the City Colleges of Chicago, Zunaid transferred to University of Illinois to pursue a degree in Computer Engineering. He currently works as a Course Assistant for Math 257, a computation-based linear algebra course. His interests lie in semiconductors, quantum computing, and automation, and he has worked on projects ranging from noise cancellation circuits to FSM design.
Samuel Lubliner
Sam first learned about SageMath in Dr.Colman's Discrete Math course and LaTeX in her Calculus 2 course. Sam holds an MS in Sustainability from DePaul University and completed a software development apprenticeship through DPI and the University of Illinois. Recently, Sam began a new role as an automation developer and gained admission to the MS in Computer Science program at Georgia Tech.
Allaoua Boughrira
Allaoua is a Senior Software Engineer at a FinTech in Chicago. He holds an engineering degree in Electronics, and a Master's in Electrical Engineering, and is currently pursuing an MS in Cybersecurity at the University of Phoenix. He also earned an Associate of Science in Computer Science from the City Colleges of Chicago, where he met Professor Colman, and under her guidance, he developed a deeper appreciation for mathematics, which has since evolved into ongoing research projects. He considers himself a mathematics enthusiast, his interests spanning algebraic topology, motion planning algorithms, and applications of SageMath.
Michael Kattner
Michael Kattner is a math student at Wilbur Wright College and is currently applying to 4-year universities for transfer with the goal of perusing a career in teaching and research in math. In his free time he is a volunteer high school wrestling coach and math tutor for his wrestlers.
